OWH Midweek Throwdown Color Challenge

Operation Write Home's Midweek Throwdown this week is a color challenge to create a card using two or more complimentary colors.  Sounds easy, right?  Then why did it take me 2 hours to make this card?!?!

Guess I have to work on my color combinations...

Sentiment is from Fiskars, flower stamp is from Inkadinkado, pearl flower centers are from Want2Scrap.

  1. Bobbie, This is a lovely card. Sometimes I find the CAS cards the hardest to do. You did a wonderful job on this. I love the little pearls in the center of your flowers. Enjoy your day

  3. Hi, Bobbi,

LOL about your 2-hour comment. We must be kindred spirits because I ask myself that question all the time. (And I love your self-description as a serial crafter! Did I say we must be kindred spirits?) :)

Well, your efforts definitely paid off in a big way. This card is so very pretty! I love your stamped sentiment and your use of the pearl for the flowers' centers.

Thanks so much for playing along in this week's Midweek Throwdown.

  6. This turned out beautifully! I have the same sentiment set - it's my latest favorite. I really like your color scheme and the flourish stamp. The pearl accents give it an extra elegance on they pearls can give. Thanks for sharing!

  7. This elegant card is simply lovely. The small flowered patterns are stamped perfectly and the sentiment is in the forefront. And yes, I have spent hours on one card. Lately I've been working on one sketch and one group of DP and CS at the same time to be more efficient. Still, these challenges cause me to work on one card to fulfill the requirements and that takes time!
