Get to the Point - Creating a Strong Focal Point

February Boot Camp over at Operation Write Home is Get to the Point - Creating a Strong Focal Point.

I used a silk flower as my focal point:

Sizzix texture plate, Martha Stewart border punch, flower and jeweled brad from my stash.  Iridescent white paper from Coredinations, turquoise from Recollections.

  1. As a singular element, the flower is definitely what draws the eye in this CAS design and I am sure the glimmer of the iridescent paper adds a very nice dimension when you see this in person. I like how the shape of the flower echos the embossed pattern and that you chose a border punch with some intricate detail to add some interest to the design. Thanks for participating in the February Bootcamp Bobbi!
